8 August 2009: “The First Symposium on the Practice of Operations Research and Logistics” has been successfully held in Dalian from 1st to 6th August 2009. The forum was efficiently planned and scheduled with very limited resources, notably in time and personnel.

The forum was a gathering of experts and entrepreneurs from famous universities, institutes and enterprises such as Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tsinhua University, Beijing Institute of Technology, Dalian Institute of Technology, Zhejiang University etc. For details please visit the web-site of Beijing Operations Research Society.
