10 July 2009: Beijing Wuzi University (BWU) signed a product purchase agreement with ENGINEST on the development license of POEM (academic version). The university will choose the POEM platform as the modeling tool for its candidates to participate in China Undergraduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling (CUMCM). With POEM's future contribution to the national contest, the agreement will further enlarge POEM's application scope in teaching and research at universities.

       The two parties also agree to create an experiment center of mathematical modeling with POEM to cooperate deeply on teaching, training and research on applied mathematics.

       BWU is among the earliest teaching and research institutions to offer logistics education.
