September 2008: Shenzhen Institute of Tsinghua University and ENGINEST signed product purchase agreement on research cooperation. ENGINEST's POEM and optimization modules will equip the institute's Modern Logistics Center for R&D purposes. Tsinghua being China's renowned engineering school and its Modern Logistics Center being a prominent logistics lab, this cooperation is of strategic importance: on one hand, it will accelerate POEM's application in both industry and academy; on the other hand, optimization technology will be integrated into basic information system and will make logistics platform more efficient.
